Natalie,
It's been a great year as far as the grant goes. We now have our whole building on board. 30 other classes around the district got boards from district money, so I've been training them too.
We are into Capstone at the moment--some good some bad. Some of it tries to be helpful, but isn't. Que sera, sera. I have learned a couple of good things, which is really all you can ask for. It throws so much at you that you are overwhelmed, so I find a few nuggets and go with them.
Hey, check out the project I started. You are still a Smart board using pro, so it may be something of use to you. smartboardrevolution.ning.com
It's a social network for us Smart board users. Share with other teachers with boards. If you know ESL/ELL teachers, send them to elltech.ning.com. Same thing for ELL teachers using technology with students.
The cool thing about the grant is how it's inspired many of us. I never would have started something like these without impetus from the grant. I presented at two tech conferences this year and I'm doing a poster session at the national conference this summer. Same thing, I never would have done that before the grant. I've seen other e2t2 lead teachers as presenters too. We have become leaders in the state. And look at you. This site is great. I share it whenever I can.
Later.
Matt
